ftlauderdale400x22One of the biggest and most exciting boat shows of the year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, is coming up November 3 to 7.

This is the show’s 57th year. Held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida—the “Yachting Capital of the World”—the show is always a highlight for boaters, who come from around the globe to attend the event.
Show exhibits range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts. A wide variety of boats will be on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, bowriders, superyachts and much more.

e29xs-run_-2Crownline will be at the show. You can find us at the Brower County Convention Center at Booth 2046. We’ll be represented at the show by dealers Boathouse Marine Center of Pompano, Florida, and Stella Marine of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The show will feature the world premiere of the Crownline E29 XS, an attractive, sporty vessel that combines the roomy comfort of a sport deckboat with the dialed-in performance of a bowrider. We’ll also have the Crownline 264 CR, a cruiser that is proving to be a favorite among boaters. The 264 CR features a stylish, elegant design below deck, and the cabin offers plenty of room and is built for luxury and comfort. In addition to those exciting boats, we’ll also have the E1 XS, with its spacious J-shape cockpit and tons of amenities, and the E6 XS, with its hot-tub-style bow seating, roomy layout and convertible aft sunbed seat.

This year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opens with a primetime preview on Thursday, November 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The show opens for general admission on Friday, November 4, and will be open each day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday, November 6. It will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7.

e29xs-dock-2Beside the vast number of boats on display at the show, there will be plenty of classes, seminars and attractions. At the show, boaters can learn about docking techniques, planning and navigating a cruise, anchoring and multi-vessel rafting techniques, knots and more. Anglers can take fishing seminars on reef and bottom-fishing basics, targeting inshore game fish and big fish on light tackle, and there will also be kids fishing clinics. Boaters will get the chance to talk to experts on activities like freediving, spearfishing, stand-up paddleboarding and underwater photography.
