Hayden, the sales team leader at his family’s esteemed boat business, Hall’s Sport Centers, has always had a deep-seated passion for boating, instilled in him from a young age.
But it was fate that brought him and Torrie together. Childhood friends who navigated their academic journey side by side, Hayden and Torrie’s paths diverged after high school. Hayden pursued his education at Northwood University, while Torrie honed her skills at Muskegon Community College. Yet, destiny intervened, and in 2017, they found themselves back in each other’s lives, rekindling a friendship that soon blossomed into something more.
“Boating has always been a major passion of mine and a major requirement I had of my spouse,” explained Hayden. “Torrie’s family had a small cottage on an inland lake in northern Michigan, however, she was by no means a ‘boater.’ We have successfully changed that, she loves the boat, and commonly you can find the two of us on the water every weekend when it isn’t raining, and the ‘big lake’ (Lake Michigan) is calm enough to take a boat out!”
Their love story is as enchanting as a sunset cruise on that “big lake.” Bonding over their shared love for boating, Hayden and Torrie have made countless memories on the water, with their beloved Bernedoodle, Magnolia, by their side.
