When choosing a boat for your family and friends to enjoy, knowing that safety features are built-in is of utmost importance. Throughout Crownline’s entire model line-up, there is an abundance of standard and optional safety features in place to keep even the smallest of passengers secure. Things like oversized four-step boarding ladders, stainless steel bow rails, full beam swim platforms, and strategically placed stainless steel grab rails and handles. Pull up cleats that lock away flush when not in use, to prevent stubbed toes or snags. Deep gunnel walls are essential to help prevent people from accidentally falling overboard, especially in rough water conditions, and are added protection from water spray. Soft touch mat flooring not only provides a soft surface to stand on but also maximizes slip resistance. Our F.A.S.T. Tab® hull is designed to ensure planning efficiency and stability in high-speed turns.
All Crownline boats are certified by the NMMA. Their certification requirements are based upon the ABYC’s “Standards and Recommended Practices for Small Craft”. To be certified, a manufacturer must pass inspections that encompass a range of safety construction standards. Additionally, Crownline is also inspected annually by the Coast Guard and continues to receive exceptionally high marks from them for the Crownline build processes.
When boat shopping, you can rest assured that Crownline puts safety first!
